To start with, I am speaking for the iota number of
responsible men who are ready and willing to settle down to a woman. Men’s
quitting a relationship doesn’t just happen, but a number of factors are quite
responsible for that. According to a recent survey which I conducted on 136 men
as regards the reasons why they would like to quit their relationships, the following
conclusions were drawn:
1. The need for freedom:
A man whose privacy and freedom is threatened will
fight tooth and nail to protect and restore it. Most men desire to have no
woman pry into their private lives. The following could constitute a threat to
a man’s privacy:
· Nagging them about marriage
- · Forcing them to quitting an established lifestyle, for instance, smoking, alcohol, drugs.
- · Calling them on the phone, every now and then. There’s as irritating as incessant phone calls to a man.
2. He feels
bored about your lifestyle:
According to the law of diminishing marginal utility in economics, the more a consumer has of a particular commodity, the less he values it. This law is also applicable to the things we do on a daily basis. A man likes to see his female partner refulgent, young and radiating on a daily basis. In the light of this belief, you should always strive to make yourself attractive to your man .Take some time out and ask him what he loves about you, and build on this aspect of yourself.
3. Incompatibility
This is when your man begins to have a mindset that the
relationship would not stand the test of time. This issues normally arise when
there’s always bickering between you and your man. Though, no relationship is
devoid of misunderstanding, you should know when to back out of an argument, especially
when it gets heated. Peradventure, the
issue of difference in ideologies, beliefs and norms can be classified as
incompatibility. But your ability to compromise on issues will help you fight
this.
In conclusion, if you follow what I have listed above
and get some nice dating books to complement this, your relationship will grow
from strength to strength.
